First Look of The Cast of ‘Dark Shadows’ Film

Entertainment Weekly has release a photo of the cast of television turned movie ‘Dark Shadows.’ With this photo, Burton said he wanted to recapture a very specific image in his mind from the original series: “I remember seeing a group photograph of the cast of the original series. For me it captured the weird Dark Shadows vibe in a single image. I had a brief window of opportunity to have our cast present at the same time, the day before principle photography began. We decided to stage a similar picture instead of rehearsing, to see if we captured the Dark Shadows feeling.”

The first official image from the film has surfaced featuring Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer and the rest of the cast. If you never heard of ‘Dark Shadows’, Entertainment Weekly have written a recap, read it here.

The Hollywood Reporter of Taylor Lautner film ‘Abduction’

The Hollywood Reporter film critic Todd McCarthy and he’s not feeling it:

Taylor Lautner tries to hold his own in an action thriller too silly to give him much of a chance.

A bad sequence from which the film never recovers is a major fight scene on a train between Nathan and a Serbian thug noticeably bigger than he is. Given the paucity of hand-to-hand battles in railroad sleeping compartments in recent decades, a filmmaker knows going in that such a sequence is inevitably going to be compared to the immortal struggle between Sean Connery and Robert Shaw in From Russia With Love a half-century ago. To put it kindly, the comparison is not to Singleton’s benefit; the compartment is too big, the action too slapdash, the resolution far too easy.

Will you listen to Todd and not see this movie or to hell what the critic said, your still going to see it?

TV Line Interview with Ian Somerhalder on Delena and Damon’s Frustration

TV Line recently spoken to Ian Somerhalder (star of The Vampire Diaries) about his character Damon and what to expect in season 3. When asked about how Alaric feels about Damon and Elena getting closer, this is what Ian have to say:

TVLINE | I hear he’s not too keen on the fact that Damon and Elena are growing so close.
He’s not too keen because he’s a smart man, and he feels a responsibility to protect her. He feels a responsibility to make sure she OK, and Damon doesn’t even pretend to make the best decisions in his life. He just does it. Alaric having that trepidation and concern for Elena’s well-being is very, very well-justified. I couldn’t argue with Ric, but Damon could until the cows come home.

And here’s what he had to say about Damon being frustrated:

TVLINE | How will Damon be letting out some of his frustration?
Damon’s way of letting out frustration and excess energy is not that different than anybody’s. [But] what’s different about it is that his is quite destructive at times, and it leads to someone getting hurt. Because of that, Elena won’t stand for it. She wants nothing to do with it. So that makes it difficult for him. He’s frustrated to no end on many levels, and now he can’t even go out and get his frustration out or express himself the way he’s used to. The blood is what makes it easier to cope with. So, it’s a tough time for Mr. Damon.
