For those of you that are subscribed to this blog and don’t want to be spoiled by your favorite tv shows, movies, etc. I created another blog that is for spoiler news. So instead of posting the spoiler here, I will just link the post from the other blog here, so it will be your choice to read the spoiler or not. The name of the blog is The Vampire Spoiler. Check it out below:
Also, just in case you don’t know, when I post a video and you don’t see it but there’s a link in the post, it’s because the video is in my vodpod and it’s the only way I can post the video here. To see the video, you have to go to the blog.
I thought I should let you know.
“Well, I’ve actually left Being Human but no one [outside of the show] knows yet,” he says, bursting our bubble. The news will come as a shock to fans, still reeling from Aidan Turner‘s exit as his character, Mitchell the vampire, was killed off by George in the season three finale. “Aidan’s left to film The Hobbit in New Zealand [with Peter Jackson] and going on without him on this fourth series felt strange,” says Tovey by way of explanation. But for such a huge sci fi-ish hit on both sides of the Atlantic, doesn’t having only one of the original cast members left put the show in major jeopardy?
“No, with Being Human the story can definitely go on and on,” Tovey insists. “Toby [Whithouse, the writer] still runs it and they can do all sorts … add giants and robots!”
Vampires.com scored another great interview with Vaempires Revolution actor Thomas Winship:
Can you tell us about your book Vaempires: Revolution?
The basic premise of the book is the question: what if vampires evolved?
Here’s a synopsis:
In the future, humans trigger a nuclear winter that lasts for hundreds of years. Water levels rise. The shape of the world changes. When the world recovers, vampires emerge from the radioactive darkness. For a millennium, humans and vampires fight for supremacy… until synthetic human blood is created, ushering in a period of peace and prosperity.
And the world changes yet again. Vampires begin morphing into væmpires (pronounced without the “a” as vempires), warm-blooded creatures with an insatiable hunger for cold vampire blood. There is no rhyme or reason as to who morphs—male or female, old or young, from one end of the world to another—no vampire is safe. And no human is safe, either, because these væmpires aren’t interested in coexistence. They want three things: the eradication of humanity, the enslavement of vampires, and their ascension as the dominant species on the planet.
It is the morning of Princess Cassandra’s sixteenth birthday. With the world’s attention focused on the heir to the vampire throne, væmpires revolt. In their initial attack, they kill the vampire and human leaders and take over the capital. By nightfall, the hopes of the free world rest on the shoulders of Cassandra, her boyfriend, Daniel, and their friends. Then væmpires unleash their secret weapons… væmpires with special powers.
What can four teens do against an enemy that can shape-shift, create walls of flame, or walk through walls?
All these vampire books coming and not enough time and money to buy them all. Damn it!
Thanks to TrueBloodOnline for the heads up. The cover art for the lastest Sookie Stackhouse novel has been released. Check it out below:
Can you relate to your character in the Vampire Diaries in any way?
Candice: I can definitely relate! My character recently discovers her super natural powers. Now while I can’t relate directly in that sense, I am also a young woman still discovering myself at the same time.
What has been your overall experience on the show?
Candice: It has been the biggest blessing ever. We have a really large cast but we are still all really close and tight. We film in Atlanta, and none of us are from there, so it kind of made us close in the sense that we are all in a new environment together.
