Vampire Diaries – Julie Plec and Caroline Dries talk about EP 313 “Bringing Out The Dead”

CW Network is all late with releasing this video, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Well, for those of you who haven’t seen last night’s episode, you can get a sneak peek to what’s to come and for those of you like me that did see it, you can watch the video to understand at least half of what the episode was about if you were confused that is.

Ian Somerhalder says Elena should not be with either Salvatore

The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder talks to TVology about his ISF Foundation and why he thinks Elena should leave those Salvatore boys alone for good.

So let’s talk about The Vampire Diaries. Damon has done a lot of wrong to Elena over the years, but his reasoning for that has been good… right?

Yeah, killing someone’s brother is clearly the best way to say ‘I love you’! (Laughs) But there’s reasons we do everything.

So why is Damon so cynical?

You know, humor is a medicine for pain. It’s like a Band-Aid. There’s so much pain in these guys’ lives, and they use humor as medicine. And it works.

With the fanbase the way it is, people are very adamant that Elena be with either Damon or Stefan. But in your opinion, you see a point where the show ends and Elena doesn’t end up with one of the Salvatore boys?

Oh, I could totally see that. I mean, I think that the best thing for her would be to not end up with a Salvatore. But it’ll be tough. I have no idea. I mean, I think she’d be crazy to be with one of them. But love is weird, and love is odd. People always talk about this Damon and Elena relationship, and I just can’t see that happening. I mean, he is pretty enticing, and suave, and he’s charming. But he’s a dick. He really is.

Klaus refuses because Elena’s blood is what he needs to make hybrids and he doesn’t trust the Salvatore brothers to keep her human since they both love her, one of them might turned her into a vampire to be with her forever or she will get killed because of their feuding. He tells them the worst thing for Elena is both of them. Damon leaves to take a break and Elijah follows him.
  • Matt walks Elena home and when they get inside the power is out. They walk into the kitchen to get flashlights and they spot a pool of blood on the floor and everywhere. They follow the blood until they see Alaric whose’s been stabbed in the stomach.
  • Elena tried to remove the knife, but Matt stops her because he’ll bleed out. Matt calls for an ambiance. Alaric tells her that if he was killed by a supernatural being the ring will bring him back to life and heal him. Since Elena is a supernatural being because she’s the doppelgänger, she is the one that has to kill him to save him, so she stabs him with the knife she bought with her.
  • Klaus tells Stefan and Damon he would leave Elena alone forever, if they end things with her, so she can move on and marry a human guy like Matt and have children so he can always have Petrova blood for hybrids. Stefan looks like he was going to agree, but he told Klaus to shove it and Klaus breaks his hand and leg, then he shoves Stefan’s hand into the fireplace, burning it, and Damon tries to save him, but Elijah stops him. Klaus tells Damon if he doesn’t give him his coffin he will  burn Stefan alive, Damon agrees and leaves. Klaus tells Elijah to follow him to make sure he will keep his word.
  • Caroline and her dad have a father-daughter moment and she tries to get him to change his mind. He tells her he won’t be a vampire because of his beliefs that vampires are wrong to exist because no one should cheat death. Caroline tells him how could he hate what she is so much and he tells her he doesn’t. He loves her and that no matter what happens to her, she is exactly what her mother and father always wanted her to be. Strong and good. Caroline breaks down and begs him not to leave her. He tells her parents are not supposed to out live their children. This is what it means to be human. You live and then die.
  • Elijah and Damon never left to get the coffin. Elijah un dagger the other siblings and they all take turns stabbing him with the daggers. Elijah lets Stefan and Damon leave.

I have two things to talk about. One, looks like the shippers who were hoping that Charlotte Petrova was going to be Klaus’s love interest were wrong since she’s dead and her name is not Charlotte, but Tatia. So that means it’s Caroline or maybe Sage. I know they said she’s going to be a flashback memory, but who knows.

The second thing is a theory I have about whose attacking the council members.

One – A tomb vampire who wants revenge for what happened.

Two – A human who knows that some of the council members are hiding the secrets of Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie, and Tyler because they are not normal/or humans, and since the council members believe in killing traitors. Maybe this person is following tradition.

Okay, tell me how you rate this episode. 5 Fangs – Brilliant and 1 Fangs – horrible.
