“The Munsters” aka “Mockingbird Lane” Reboot Postpone

According to Variety, the reboot of the classic 60′s television seriesThe Munsters” now with a new title “Mockingbird Lane” that NBC was working on will be postpone until midseason.

NBC is taking a hourlong pilot order based on “The Munsters” franchise out of the running for the fall 2012-13 schedule in order to give it extra attention, according to sources.

Now called “Mockingbird Lane,” the pilot was ordered last November from Universal Television and creator Bryan Fuller (“Pushing Daisies”). Shooting has been pushed to the summer, which means “Lane” will be considered for next midseason.

Sources say the network felt the series needed more time to get the elements just right for what NBC envisions being a key project for them.

A Peacock spokesman declined comment.

Video+Poll: The Vampire Diaries Episode 3.14 “Dangerous Liaisons” Recap

Where do I even start? Holy sh*t this episode was incredible. I’ve never been more girly than I was when I saw The Vampire Diaries last night. Especially the scene with Klaus and Caroline. Squee! I know Klaus is evil and all, but when Caroline rejected him all I wanted to do was give him a hug, but Caroline was right, Klaus needs to learn you can’t buy people or force them to be your friend or love interest. You have to work for it, get to know them, and gifts that come from the heart are the ones that people, well most people, really want. As many people know about me, I don’t ship Delena, but I gotta say I felt for Damon when he told her he loved her and she says that’s the problem. My response was “Ouch. Damn that’s messed up.” The way Klaus was around Caroline was like seeing a teenage boy crushing on a girl and I loved it. It was a good thing I was sitting down because I would have fainted, my knees were weak. It was so cute and touching. I’m a hopeless romantic, so seeing this just made me love the possible relationship between Caroline and Klaus even more. Anyway, enough of me gushing, here’s a video from Think Hero of their recap of last night’s episode and rate the episode below. Enjoy :)

Selena Gomez replaces Miley Cyrus for the animated film “Hotel Transylvania”

According to MTV, “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez will replace Miley Cyrus on the vampire animated film “Hotel Transylvania.”

A rep for Sandler told E! News that the actress will play the part of Mavis, the vampire daughter of Dracula (Sandler). Dracula, who runs a resort of all the creepy folks in the world, gets worried when his teen daughter falls for a boy. E! reports that “Saturday Night Live” star Andy Samberg, singer and “The Voice” judge Cee Lo Green and Sandler’s pal Kevin James also have sunk their teeth into roles in the film, expected to drop in September.

Back in November, an image of Mavis floating around showed the teen vamp with short black hair, sporting a little black dress with black-and-red striped tights. She rocks the look with red high-top sneakers.

Before she voices Mavis, Gomez will be on set for the much-more-mature “Spring Breakers,” which follows a group of college girls who rob a restaurant to pay for their spring break. When they land in jail, a drug and arms dealer bails them out, and they quickly become entangled with him. “I’m really, really excited about it,” Gomez said about the Harmony Korine-directed film.

“We have to say there’s a lot to be excited about. It’s a different character than I have ever played before,” she added. “It’s a different kind of vibe, I think, than people are used to seeing me in. What you’re going to see is more raw, I think. It’s going to be raw and more about acting.”
