The Hollywood Reporter brings news that Ember Entertainment has picked up distribution rights to the soon-to-be Canadian-produced vampires on a plane chiller Night Wings.
The film will mark the directorial debut of visual effects producer Dusan Strugar. His work can be seen in the Tomb Raider movies and the upcoming Chronicles of Riddick sequel.
Writer Paul Birkett must really love airplane monster movies seeing as how he also penned the 2010 airplane monster flick Altitude. He’s also the writer of three Syfy original movies set to premiere later this year.
Official Synopsis
The plot of Night Wings sees a 12 year-old boy on a redeye flight over the Atlantic trying to convince the flight crew that vampires are onboard the flight from Romania. Only one passenger believes the boy, a father seeking revenge for the loss of his son to the Count Radu vampire clan.
