Candice Accola Interview With Your Tango About Her Web Series And Dating

In an interview with Your Tango, Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola talks about her web series ‘Dating Rules From Your Future Self‘, what she relates to her character Chloë, and dating.

Ten years ago you were in high school and dating was probably pretty new. Tell us a crazy teen dating story from those days.
The first guy I really liked, he was my first kiss when I was 14 and he was 16 or 17. That was a bigdeal! He was super nervous that his friends would make fun of him because I was a freshman. I remember calling him out, telling him I deserved better — a guy that wanted to be with me. There were highs and lows and there were really great guys, really weird guys… (She laughs). That was just part of it. But (those experiences have) given me a really evolved perspective about what I find valuable.

About.com Interview with Daniel Gillies – Favorite Scene and Being A Vampire

About.com got a chance to chat with ‘Vampire Diaries‘ and ‘Saving Hope‘ star Daniel Gillies about his new series, favorite scene on Vampire Diaries, best parts of being a vampire, and more.

Q: What has been your favorite episode or scene involving your character from TVD?

Daniel: ”I liked the beginning, where there was more mystery to my character. He was more humorous and ruthless all at once and I feel like the show desperately needed that when I came in. He was an antagonist that was a deep threat to them and I feel like I filled that role and responsibility. I loved working with Nina, Paul, Ian and Joseph Morgan — I have such good friendships with them and can’t think of one particular scene I enjoyed over another.”

Q: If you were a vampire, which ability would you most like to have?

Daniel: ”There’s something exciting to me about the idea of time. I like the idea that over several lifetimes, you can master so many things. I think the depressing part about being a human or a living creature is that you’re going to die and the thing we love about vampires is their perpetual youth. It is a stunning and beautiful idea that you can achieve mastery of several hundred disciplines over the course of centuries.”

Q: Tell us about Saving Hope

Daniel: ”Charlie Harris, who is played by Michael Shanks, is an orthopedic surgeon who is about to marry Alex Reid, and in the pilot they are in a car accident on their way to getting married. Charlie is thrust into a coma and from there he can see people who are passing between life and death.”

Video: Official Trailer for David Anders’s vampire film ‘The Revenant’

In the movie from director Kerry Prior, an Iraqi soldier (David Anders) comes back to life but needs to drink human blood to keep his soul from hurting all the time. He entrusts his best pal (Chris Wylde) with helping him get the red stuff, but soon his buddy wants to be a vampire too. Why? Because when you’re a vampire, you can also be a vigilante with little to no danger to your physical form.

Kristin Bauer Interview with Elle Magazine – Pam’s Style and Life As A Madame

Elle Magazine recently spoke to True Blood star Kristin Bauer about vampires, fashion, and more.

ELLE: How would you describe her style?

KBVS: Well, Pam has a lot of time on her hands. She’s immortal, and she doesn’t have to worry about money, so she spends most of her day thinking about what she’s going to wear. She dresses for every occasion. Even last year when her face was rotting, she wore lashes and lipstick. I, personally, like to get dressed and then do my makeup and hair in about five minutes. Lately, I’ve been throwing on Lululemon—it’s so comfortable!—my comfy sneakers, no makeup, my hair in a ponytail, and I’m good to go.

ELLE: You’re probably one of the best badass bitches on TV. How do you get into character?

KBVS: Um, it’s astonishingly easy for some reason! It’s really fun to channel your inner bitch. You know we all have one but in life, you’d lose your friends if you said what you were really thinking. So, it’s really freeing to just get to read the lines and think, “What would be the harshest, most caustic way I could deliver that?” and do it!

ELLE: It’s revealed that Pam was a madame back in her day. Did you know about that storyline before, or was it news to you, too?

KBVS: It was news to me. I heard one of the writers talking about it, and she told me a little bit about the direction they were going. But until I read the script, I didn’t know exactly how it was going to go down, especially the way that Pam was made. I thought it was really beautiful, perfect, and efficient writing. It just encapsulated everything we know about Pam, how ballsy she is, how committed to being a vampire she is, and how she really didn’t want humanity anymore. It really didn’t serve her, and it fit with a woman living in 1905, which was such a vulnerable time.

Candice Accola Interview with Glamour Magazine – Her Obsessions

In an interview with Glamour Magazine, Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola talks about her obsessions.

My current obsession is: Disposable cameras! In case you haven’t heard, my girlfriends and I have declared the summer of 2012 as the best summer ever. The best way to document said “best summer ever” is with a good ol’ disposable camera. Smile, click, move on! Nobody gets pic approval, and there’s no time wasted gathering around the camera to analyze a moment that just happened. Disposable cameras allow you to snap something special without being taken out of the moment. Plus, when your pictures are developed, it’s just like Christmas morning!

The movie I’m so obsessed with I know every word isFrench Kiss. “Happy, smile. Sad, frown. Use the corresponding face with the corresponding emotion!” “Lactose intolerance!” “Bub like Bub Dylan.” And my personal favorite is when Meg Ryan sings ‘I Hate Paris in the Springtime’ song, “because my love is there with his slut girlfriend.” Yeah, I just whipped all those quotes out my back pocket.
