Christian leaders are fighting back against the vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, and other supernatural creatures. Since there have been a lot of attacks by vampire fanatics, the christian leaders are fed up and want it stop. The Christian Post has posted an article about this issue:
More than just a flippant fascination, youth today have become fixated on popular entertainment subjects like vampires, ghosts and witches, taking their interests to the extreme, and acting out in accordance.
Just a few months ago, a 19-year-old in Texas, claiming to have been a 500-year-old vampire needing to be fed, broke into a woman’s home, threw her against the wall, and tried to suck her blood.
Another instance in Florida involved a teenage girl who was charged along with four others for beating a 16-year-old to death. They were part of a purported vampire cult, with one teenage girl calling herself a vampire/werewolf hybrid.
“Psychologists have long understood how women in general desire strength in men, but few could have imagined how this natural and overriding need by young ladies would be used in modern times to seduce them of their innocence using mysteriously strong yet everlastingly damned creatures depicted in popular books and films like Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse,” publisher Thomas Horn said in a statement.
“Consider as an example popular youth-oriented magazines like Rolling Stone and their article ‘The Joy of Vampire Sex.’ Look at the ménage-à-trois on the magazine’s cover of three nudes bathed in blood with the promise to readers that vampires are ‘Hot. They’re Sexy. They’re Undead.’”
Admonishing parents, pastors and youth pastors to pay closer attention to what their children were “mentally and spiritually feeding on,” Horn hopes that Christians would begin to act to counter the dangers of pop culture’s fascination on occult practices before a generation was “lost to darkness.”
“Frankly, preachers need to care enough about those families and youth within their care to take a stand, or stand down; be gusty enough to use their pulpit for something eternally useful, or quit the ministry and become a car salesman.”
I have said it before that parents need to explain to their children and teens the difference between reality and fiction. Things wouldn’t be so out of control if parents did their job and speak to their kids. You cannot blame the culture because of some mentally unbalanced people. I’ve loved the supernatural since I was a kid and I didn’t go on a killing spree because of it. My mom taught me the difference between real and fake. Parents need to do the same or their kid could be the next crazy to attack someone.
What do you think? Are Vampires and other supes to blame for the attacks that are happening? or is it the parents fault?
Summit Entertainment finally has release the movie rating and from the rating the honeymoon scene is will not be as hot as the Twihards thought it would. The rating is PG-13 which pretty much means the sex scene will be tone down. Which isn’t a surprise considering the Twilight Saga is for the preteen audience.
Hollywood Life posted that Director David Cronenberg mention there might be a chance that Robert’s new film ‘Cosmopolis’ will be at Cannes:
Director David Cronenberg revealed the film, which follows Rob’s character over the course of 24-hours in Manhattan, is still in post production. He said it could go to Cannes, which will inevitably keep Rob at the top of every director’s wish list.
Even though the film won’t be release until next year. If I know the Rob fans, they would definitely do everything in their power to make the movie a hit.
In VMAN Magazine, Taylor Lautner said that because of Robert and Kristen, he didn’t go nuts in the Canadian wilderness:
“It was really helpful that all of us were going through the same thing at the same time,” says Taylor. “I think if we didn’t have that sort of relationship it would have been tough. It would have felt pretty lonely. Because when you’re filming for these Breaking Dawn movies, we were filming for seven months, and if you’re there alone the whole time, even with the cast members, like on a day off, or on weekends, you’d go nuts.”
Thanks to Hollywood Life for the heads up.

With the “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” up for many awards at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, it has fans waiting to see what might happen. Pattinson, Stewart and the “Twilight” film picked up a bunch of awards several months ago at MTV’s Movie Awards. They beat out the “Harry Potter” film as usual, and stole the show with a kiss.
